Hambledon Productions celebrate 100 years of Spike Milligan with new show

Hambledon Productions has performed various shows to the Sleaford Playhouse, some include Educating Rita, Just Like That! Tommy Cooper Show and Steptoe and Son to name a few.

Now they are returning with a new show celebrating 100 years of Spike Milligan.

The anarchic "Goon Show from the 1980's", written by Spike's longstanding collaborator John Antrobus for BBC Radio, is a fresh, vibrant salute to one of the all-time geniuses of British comedy.

This spirited revival premiers from Hambledon Productions (Just Like That! The Tommy Cooper Show and Steptoe and Son) and is chock-full of zany, Milligan-esque humour.

Revel in a surreal take on Jonah and the Whale, that "cake" elusive Pimpernel and the incredible case of the vanishing Flying Scotsman.

All this – and less! – in The Milligan Papers.

Tickets for this show are available online, by calling our Booking Line handled by TicketSource on 0333 666 3366 or by visiting our Boc Office located at Animal Magic, Westgate, Sleaford.
