The Workshops: The well-being and safety of your children while they are in our care is of the utmost importance to us. To help ensure the smooth running of these, please read carefully all the details and requirements below:
Appropriate Clothing: It is important for the comfort and well-being of your children that they wear clothing appropriate to a theatre workshop environment. Soft trousers/leggings and non-slip shoes/trainers are perfect. Skirts and any form of heels are not appropriate when working onstage. In addition, please ensure they bring along a warm jumper. The theatre is a historic building and can sometimes be a little chilly during winter months, even with the heating on.
Drinks: Please ensure your child has a bottle of water with them. Sugary drinks are not permitted during the class, and there will not be anywhere open on the premises to purchase refreshments.
Food: They may bring a fruit snack to eat during the break if they wish to. We kindly request that other treats, such as crisps, sweets or chocolates, are not brought to the workshop. If your child comes to us directly from another class and has not had lunch, they may bring a sandwich and fruit to eat during the break. Nuts of any description are strictly prohibited.
Valuables: Such as excessive amounts of money, expensive jewellery or handheld gaming consoles should be left at home. All mobile phones must be put away and on silent during the workshop.
Photography & Recordings: Photography and recordings of any type are not allowed for the safety of all participants.
Unable to attend: If for some reason your child is unable to attend a class, please let us know as soon as possible by email.
If you have any issues completing the payment or require further details about the course, in general, please do not hesitate to email us at academy@sleafordlittletheatre.co.uk.
