Dee’s Gifts becomes the new Box Office for The Playhouse

Sleaford Little Theatre is excited to announce that Dee’s Gifts, located in the Riverside Shopping Centre in Sleaford, is now the in-person Box Office for The Playhouse.

We were shocked and saddened by the closure of Animal Magic at such short notice, who have been our Box Office for seven years. We are incredibly grateful to them for their support during their time as our Box Office.

When we put out the request for any local businesses who would be willing to support us, we did get a number of responses, and ultimately, we accepted the offer from Dee’s Gifts.

Dee's Gifts opened in Sleaford, Lincolnshire, in January 2015. They offer a vast array of products to suit all budgets and stock many brands, such as: Royal Doulton, Waterford Crystal, Nemesis Now, Bomb Cosmetics, Aromatize and Spiral clothing and much more.

Speaking to Peter at Dee's Gifts, he said, "The staff and management at Dee's Gifts are very pleased to announce the hosting of the Box Office for the Sleaford Little Theatre. As a gift shop for the Local Community, this extra service will enhance people's shopping experience with us."

With a new Box Office comes new offerings. Dee’s Gifts can offer card payments as well as cash, and we have a new ticket printer which will provide customers with smaller, more wallet-sized tickets.

Christine Malkin, Chairperson for Sleaford Little Theatre, said, “In June, we, unfortunately, had to say goodbye to Animal Magic, with whom we had a very successful partnership over a number of years.

”The new box office, at Dee's Gifts gives the choice of purchasing tickets by cash and card, and I can assure you that you will receive a very warm welcome from Peter and his staff.”

Having a physical location in Sleaford has always been important for SLT, so we can support local businesses and offer additional ways to buy tickets to the theatre events. Not everyone wants to book online.

We hope all our customers will visit Dee’s Gifts and welcome them as our new box office. We hope our partnership will continue for many years to come.
