Sleaford's Georgian Gem open evening - Friday 1st November

"I regard the theatre as the greatest of all art forms, the most immediate way in which a human being can share with another the sense of what it is to be a human being."

Oscar Wilde

The Sleaford Little Theatre is holding an extra special social evening on Friday 1st November at the beautiful Georgian Playhouse on Westgate.

The evening will comprise of a presentation by George Shields on the history and development of the theatre entitled ‘Sleaford’s Georgian Gem’ followed by a fun quiz where you will have the chance to win a pair of tickets for our forthcoming pantomime.

Doors open at 7 pm and the bar will be open throughout the evening.

This event, as well as welcoming old and new friends to the theatre for a social evening, is also part of the SLT fundraising programme to help towards the huge costs of the recent foyer refurbishment.

‘’It is a wonderful opportunity for locals to learn more about the society, the theatre, meet with our members and celebrate the inspirational work that Sleaford Little Theatre does bringing entertainment to the Sleaford community.

We hope that we will meet many people who have never been to the theatre before and welcome back some of our regulars.

These social evenings are set to become a regular feature in our theatre calendar along with lots of other exciting events during 2020.

We look forward to seeing you soon.’’
