The SLT Academy returns for Autumn/Winter 2021

We are delighted and excited to announce that the SLT Academy will be opening its doors again in September and we are now taking bookings!

If you have a son/daughter aged 8-18 and want to be an actor? We teach stagecraft, acting techniques, technical theatre and help youngsters grow in confidence and have fun whilst doing it.

The Academy is re-opening from 11th September.

This time we are jumping straight in with rehearsals for a Spring production and the training elements of the workshops will be incorporated into this process.

The show 'Whatz 'Appnin' in the Willows'? adapted by Maria Bates is a story based on 'Wind in the Willows' but set in 1920's London. Think 'The Great Gatsby' meets 'Bugsy Malone' but with characters very much like those in Wind in the Willows, only human.

Term Dates

The term dates for 2021 / 2022 are:

Autumn/Winter 2021:

Sept 11th, 18th, 25th, 9th, 16th & 23rd = 6 weeks 2pm - 4pm
Nov 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th = 2pm - 4pm & Dec 5th (sun 10am - 12pm), 12th (Sun 10am - 12pm) = total 6 weeks

Spring 2022:

Show - 8th & 9th of April - 'Whatz 'Appnin' in the Willows'?
