Solar Panels Installed at The Playhouse

Sleaford Little Theatre is delighted to announce the successful installation of brand new solar panels at The Playhouse.

The system is now fully operational and represents an important step forward in improving the long-term sustainability of our theatre. The project will help reduce energy costs and lower the venue’s environmental impact, supporting the future of live theatre and cinema in the heart of Sleaford.

The project has been made possible thanks to support from the Theatres Trust Small Grants Programme supported by The Linbury Trust, alongside funding from the Sleaford REP Community Power Fund Grant Scheme.

As a volunteer-run community theatre, managing rising running costs remains an ongoing challenge. It is hoped that the savings generated by the solar panels will help strengthen us for the future and allow continued investment in productions, cinema screenings and community entertainment.

It is also hoped that the project will help ensure that high-quality arts, theatre and cinema remain accessible and affordable for local audiences for years to come.
