The stage at the Playhouse Theatre is the focal point for the audience and over the years has seen many great performances created many more amazing memories.
We are highlighting this area of the theatre in Part Two of our Theatres in the Dark series.
As well as Sleaford Little Theatre ADS staging 4 productions a year, we also have many external events ranging from music concerts (Planet ABBA, The Commitment Brothers, The Sounds of Simon & local duo Winter Wilson to name a few).
We also have local touring theatre groups such as Hambledon Productions and other genres of performances sich as Mediums and Comedy Nights.
In Part Two of the Theatres in the Dark series our Front of House Manager, Craig Pakes, speaks about the sadness of seeing the set for “Two” ready to go but yet unseen due to the forced cancellation of the production which should have been staged in March 2020.
Craig also shares memories of his time performing on the stage from how he found love and an amusing tale when he played an ugly sister in SLTs very first pantomime.
We hope you enjoy this second insight and if you missed part one, detailing our foyer refurbishment, then you can listen again.
In April 2020, a report from Statista showed that 75 per cent of people shop online at least once a month.
If you are one of these people, you could help raise FREE donations for the Sleaford Playhouse.
By shopping with Easyfundraising and choosing Sleaford Little Theatre as your chosen cause, every time you shop online, you can raise donations for us.
It is really straightforward. All you need to do is register at Easyfundraising.org.uk, chose Sleaford Little Theatre as your cause, search the Easyfundraising website for the online retailer you wish to shop from and then buy online as normal.
Thank you for your continued support and please check back for Part Three next week.
