Theatre Open Day for RiverLight '25
Sleaford Little Theatre are excited to announce our first involvement with the town's RiverLight Festival! Held annually for the past 4 years, RiverLight is a celebration of Sleaford’s rich culture and heritage, bringing the town alive with a vibrant mix of arts and creativity. We'll be celebrating 75 years of our society with an open day where you can learn about our history and look back on the many productions we have brought to the stage. Look out also for the SLT Academy who will be performing outside the Hub on the finale and feature in the colourful community-led parade through the town centre.
Our Open Day takes place at The Playhouse during the fringe festival on Sunday 15th June with free drop-in theatre tours at 10:30am & 11.45am, along with two free acting workshops (pre-booked, 18+), at 11am and 12.30pm. Read on for details on how to book your place in these workshops!
🌟 Discover Your Inner Actor! 🌟
Join us for a fun, free Taster Acting Session designed specifically for adults (18+). Whether you're a complete beginner or simply curious, you'll enjoy a lively introduction to acting with games, improv exercises, and plenty of laughs! Spaces are limited to 20 participants per session, so be sure to sign up to secure your spot. Please note the workshops will be closed sessions, meaning only those registered to take part will be able to attend.

🌿✨ 🎭 The Forest of Forgotten Whispers – RiverLight Performance! 🎭 ✨🌿
Join the SLT Academy as they bring the magical story of The Forest of Forgotten Whispers to life in a special 30-minute outdoor performance as part of the RiverLight Festival! Catch this enchanting tale of nature, hope, and renewal at 12:30pm – 1:00pm on June 21st on the green outside the Hub. Stay after the show to cheer them on as they join the vibrant RiverLight Parade at 3.30pm from the Market Place!!
